It is a welded steel assembly which forms a sunken platform to take the bearings. One base plate is enough for one corner of the bridge, whether the construction is of a Single, Double or Triple truss, Number I , 2 & 3 are embossed on the edge of Base Plate which indicates the exact position for the center line of the inner truss of Single, Double or Triple truss construction respectively. Thus by aligning the appropriate number with the inner truss nearest to the decking, the correct transverse position for the Base Plate is found for each type of Bridge.

Our provided perfectly fabricated Bailey Bridge Base Plate is appreciated for its high strength, compact design, dimensional accuracy, high load bearing capability and cost effectiveness. The Base Plate is 1400 mm long and 900 mm wide. The bearing can move 229 mm longitudinally on the Base Plate to assist in erection and also allows for expansion of the Bridge.
